Gus (Darlene Alma) married Donald Welch, native of Boston who unfortunately died in 1982. They had children, Dawn Mari,
Patty Lynne, Lisa and Joe, the first two were born in Spain where Don was stationed in the Air Force. When Don (Welch as everyone
called him) got assigned to an air base in New Jersey, Gus said, I'm going home, and returned to Marquette. Don chose then to leave
the Air Force, easier said than done since he had recently reenlisted, and joined the family back on Craig Street.
Gus is still in this house where it all happened (is happening). Once you're born it's a mandatory adventure.

Sharon Dollar, is behind her facing away. Welch had that charming Boston accent and a gift for gab. 1957
